The Relationship between Research Assistants’ Social Loafing and Organizational Commitment

Organizational commitment and social loafing are important interrelated concepts in working life. Employees who think that their performance will decrease effort be lost, work is not meaningful, prefer to hide the crowd socially loaf. It crucial reveal exact nature of this relationship terms employee productivity, cooperation, competitiveness inexhaustibility. thought have an efficiency-, performance- job satisfaction-related impact on outcomes research assistants. This study aims at determining between organizational assistants, finding out whether levels differ significantly depending type staff length service. The criterion sampling method, one purposeful methods, was used for sampling. participants 34 assistants a faculty. Correlational survey model investigate Personal Information Recognition Form, Commitment Scale, Social Loafing Scale were as data collection tools. Pearson’s Spearman’s correlation analyses, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis variance Kruskal-Wallis data. A significant inverse found affective (as sub-dimension commitment) loafing. No difference could identified groups demographic variables.
